Somali Development Initiative (SODIN) successfully conducted a short training on Prevention and Countering Violent Extremism (PCVE) in Baidoa district, South West State. The training brought together local youth leaders, civil society members, religious figures, and community elders to enhance their understanding of the root causes of violent extremism and equip them with practical tools for early prevention, dialogue, and community-based solutions. The initiative aimed to strengthen local resilience, foster peacebuilding, and promote collaboration in addressing radicalization at the grassroots level
